During this term we will be launching the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme. The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme is the world’s leading youth achievement award and can give students a real edge when applying for College, University or for a job. To gain the award students will complete a volunteering, physical, skills and expedition challenge.

The scheme will, initially, be open to our Year 10 students.  We have already had a great response from students who are keen to start their Bronze Award.  If any student would like to be involved please see Mrs C Neilson, Mr W Sarjeant or Mr R Sutton.

We are looking forward to giving you updates on how the students are doing!
